About me

Hello there, my name is Sunny—I am a sweet 9 year old female Jack Russell Cross Springer Spaniel, that’s a winning combination if you ask me! The staff here are sincerely hoping there is an ideal home out there for me, worts n’all (I don’t really have any worts, it’s just an
expression!!).

Lets cut straight to the case, I am a bit of an odd lil thing. I lead people into a false sense of security because I’ll give you all the lovely signals, the bum wiggle, the tail wag, as if to say ‘stroke me, love me, touch me, cuddle me!!!’ and then as soon as you go to, I don’t like it very much. Even with my favourite humans here at the centre who I love and trust, I can tolerate a stoke or two but then let them know when I have had enough. I would love for my new owner to have knowledge of doggy body language because I have a ‘look’ I give to say ‘that’s enough thank you’ and as long as my new owner understands that then we could live happily ever after.

If you would like a pooch to be a companion, but not a cuddle buddy, then I could be the perfect girl for you! I love to play, especially with a tug toy, they’re my favourites!! I also LOVE my grub, so gaining my love and trust should be fairly easy (through my belly hehe!).

I am an absolute cutie pie waiting for the chance to live the rest of my days outside of these four walls (although the sofa and TV are lovely!) - could that be with you?
