Meet Biscuit!

Hello, I’m Biscuit and I am looking for a new home to start the next chapter of my life in.

I’m a lovely boy but I can be very nervous of new things, and it has been taking me a while to adjust to life in the cattery, but I am gaining more confidence every day. I’m a very talkative cat and will meow when I see you to tell you how I am feeling. Once I have built up some trust, I will let you give me some gentle strokes and sometimes I even have a little cuddle, but it is important that my family give me the space I need to make progress at my own pace and don’t try to rush me.

There are two great ways to start building up a bond with me - treats and toys! Of all the ones I have tried at the centre, my favourite treats are Dreamies and my favourite toy is the fishing rod with catnip on the end - I love to chase it and it helps distract me from my worries.

I would like to find a quite household with a family who will be understanding of my nervousness and give me space when I need it. It is important that any children in my family also understand this. I would like to be the only pet in the home so I have all the space I need to settle in, and when I am settled, it would be nice to have access to a garden for me to explore.
