Meet Roxy!

Hi everyone! My name is Roxy and I'm a special girl who is so very deserving of that special spot in someones heart. I came to the Centre in a very poorly condition and severely underweight. With some good nutrition and lots and lots and lots of cuddles, I must say, I'm feeling like a million dollars! Whilst my road to full recovery is still ongoing, I've come so far already and am looking and feeling so much healthier and happier. All I need now is to find those lucky forever humans who get to love me forever.

Now then, as you might be able to tell from my gorgeous chops, I'm a very beautiful Dogue De Bordeaux. That means I'm big and beautiful with a big heart to match. My favourite thing in the world is to have snuggles. I'm adoring spending time here snoozing away on the sofas and love to snuggle my face into the laps and arms of my favourite human friends here. When I'm not snoozing away, I've been enjoying exploring more and more of the big wide world as time goes on. I'm needing my stamina built up slowly but have been enjoying exploring some good sniffs here. I've also been developing a playful side and starting to find a real love in toys.

I've met some other doggy friends here and have enjoyed that so far- I might like to live with another pooch depending on how we get along here. I haven't yet experienced our feline friends and am going to be seeking homes where any children are much older teenagers. I'm going to be in need of a dedicated owner who can work alongside NAWT on my full recovery. Ideally, it would be fab if you've had experience of helping rescue pooches in need before and especially us big, beautiful babies! Whilst I still have a little way to go on my journey, you can be sure that I'll be really rather cheeky in my new home! I have such a massive personality that simply shines and everyone here is very much in love with me. Now that I've seen such kindness and enjoy spending time with people, I don't really like being left home alone so will be looking for forever humans who can dedicate lots of time to me and help build my confidence slowly with being left alone. Life for me may be full of firsts and I'll need a patient owner who can guide my paws along the way. Whilst I've been so down on my luck, things are only on the up and I simply cannot wait to find my forever love. If you think you could be the lucky ones to welcome me home, please get in touch with my friends here. Initially I'll be going home on a foster basis with an intent to adopt.
