Meet Lucy!

Hi everyone! My name is Lucy and I'm a lovely lady on the lookout for my loving forever home. As you might be able to tell...I'm really rather beautiful! I'm a German Shepherd cross..so I'm mainly all German Shepherd except my legs..which are a bit shorter! I'm an older lady at 10 years old..but please don't let that deter you falling in love with me! I've bundles of spirit and I've still got a whole heart full of love to give.

You might think that given my senior years that I don't have much energy but that's simply not the case. I love my walkies and am always eager to get going. But a lot of it is because I'm on the go at the minute as I'm finding kennel life a little bit stressful. I have proven that there's a snoozy older girl in me who appreciates the quality in a good nap in the company of good friends. Really, I'm searching for that spot on a forever sofa and the chance to decompress in the comforts of a home environment.

At the moment, I find meeting other animals a bit too stressful. When out on my walks I can say a quick hello to other dogs but then I need to get on my way and I'm not really interested in being pals...I'm a busy girl don't you know! So I'm not looking to share my home with any other furry friends. However, I've been eager to make lots of human friends! I'm going to be needing a secure garden of my own too.
