Meet Princess!

Hello everyone, my name is Princess, and I am a nearly 6-year-old terrier cross that is looking for a new home via the Home Direct scheme. This means that I get to stay in my current home until a new one is found for me, which is much better than having to go into a kennel!

I am a very sweet little girl that loves being around people and being fussed. I am a little bit shy with new people, but I quickly warm up to them and want some fuss.

I have experience in living with older children , so I could do this again as long as they can be respectful of my space. I also currently live with a cat, and we are great friends so I could do this again! Slow and careful introductions will help us to get along well. I quite enjoy seeing other dogs when I am out on a walk, so I could potentially live with another dog if we got along during visits to the centre and at a home visit.

I am used to being left on my own for a few hours, but it would be great to have someone with me whilst I settle in and then gradually extend the time that I am left alone. I am house trained, and I walk well off lead and enjoy following my family around on our walks.
