Meet Ella!

Hi there! My name is Ella, and I am a 6-month-old crossbreed pup that is hoping to start a new life with a wonderful family to call my own!

I am a typical bouncy, excitable puppy that needs lots of kind and reward-based training in things such as loose-lead walking, keeping all four paws on the floor and polite greeting. I have shown some reactivity to other dogs, and as I came in as a stray the team aren't sure what my interactions with other dogs have been like previously. I need lots of training in becoming neutral and ignoring other dogs instead of reacting to them. The good news is, I love being around people and food, so I will be easy to train if someone puts the work in!

I can live with older children that are experienced around bouncy young dogs, and could help with my training. Due to my reactivity to other dogs, I can't live with any. I also can't live with cats, as I want to chase them!

As a young girl I am not used to being left on my own, so I will need there to be someone around all of the time that can help to train me in being left alone. Having someone around all of the time will be great for my toilet training, and all of the other things I need to learn, as consistency and repetition are key to success!
