Meet Joey (& King Julian)!

Hello everyone, my name is King Julian, and this is my best bud, Joey! We are a pair of 4-year-old males that are looking for a new home via the Home Direct scheme, which means that we get to stay in our current home until a new one is found for us. This keeps space free at the centre for animals that really need to be there.

We are a lovely pair of guinea pigs that enjoy typical guinea-pig things, such as munching on hay and vegetables, wheeking and snuggling up together. We are being rehomed due to a change in our families circumstances, so through no fault of our own.

We can live with children of any age, but please be aware that we are not childrens pets - us guinea-pigs can be complicated little animals, so we need there to be an adult that is responsible for our care. We could be handled by children, as long as it was supervised and on our level, so that we don't get too scared. We could live in a home with other pets, but we should be securely housed to make sure that we are safe. Unfortunately we can't live in accommodation with other guinea-pigs as that could cause our friendship to breakdown!

We are currently living outside in a hutch, so we could live outside in our new home. We will need accommodation that is at least 5ft x 2ft, and we will also need access to a run in the summer months. If our new family wanted to keep us inside that would be okay, but we would still need the same sized accommodation.
