Meet Humphrey!

Hi there, The name’s Humphrey! I have come from a very loving home and have been well cared for my whole life, sadly though my owner is unable to look after me anymore and I’m in need of someone new to take good care of me. Though I don’t look it I am turning a whopping 20 this year! Trust me though, you’d never believe it! I am currently at a lovely foster home and the kind people who are looking after me can’t believe I’m an elderly chap. Don’t get me wrong I love a nap on the sofa as much as your next cat but I still love playing with my toys, the cat nip fish and ribbon stick are my absolute favourites!

As well as playing with my toys I love fuss and affection! My foster carers have even called me a big flirt. I just love forehead kisses and chin rubs, if that makes me a flirt then so be it! However if I don’t know someone very well I have been known to tell people off with a warning scratch or nip if I’m being cuddled too much or for too long. What can I say? When you’ve been around this long you’ve got to set your own personal boundaries. I have spent some time around younger children in my foster home but I tend to prefer to leave the room and stay clear of them. Ideally I need people around who I know will be able to read my body language and create a calm environment for me to live out my golden years. This also means no other cats or dogs (sorry!)
