Meet Rufus (& Maple)!

Hello everyone, I am Maple and this is my brother Rufus, and we are a pair of very scared cats that are looking for a new home together. We are both 4-year-old boys, and we were originally adopted from the centre when we were kittens, but we had to come back due to a change in circumstances.

We are looking for a home that doesn’t expect too much from us – we are the sort of cats that want to come and go as we please, and will pop in for food and for a chin scratch occasionally, but nothing more than that. If you are looking for overly friendly cats that like to sit on laps, then we are not for you, but if you would like a couple of passive companions, then we would be purrfect!

We could live with older teenagers that wouldn’t expect anything from us, and could let us do our own thing. Another cat could be a possibility, but dogs are super scary and we wouldn’t want to be confined in a home with one whilst we settle in, and having one in the home would probably make us not want to come inside.

As I mentioned, outdoor access is really important to us, so you will need to make sure that we have a cat flap that we can use to come and go as we please. This will help us to relax, and give us space to do our own thing.
