Meet Poppy!
Hey everyone, I'm Poppy and I'm on the look out for my forever home!
I have come from a home where I was very much loved but I was just not getting on with my brother and we ended up fighting, so I will need to be the only dog in my new home. Saying that I am very well socialised and am great with other dogs when out on my walks.
I am an absolute dream on the lead, and I really love my walks - my favourite place is the beach where I love to run, I'm just not a fan of the water!
I have the loveliest temperament, and although can be a bit unsure of new people at first, I soon come round, and in fact will greet you with kisses. I am a real cuddler and adore giving and receiving affection, and I cant wait to find a new lap to curl up on.
I am a playful and active little lady, quite puppy like really, so I hope you have lots of toys ready for me, especially any that squeak! You will get to know that I like to "chat" especially when we are having fun.
As you can see from my photos I am a gorgeous girly with a lovely curly coat that is going to need lots of grooming and clipping so my new owners need to take that into consideration - I'm not a fan of being groomed if I'm totally honest, especially around my face, but I do manage ok and it helps if its one of my trusted people doing the grooming.
I haven't lived with children but have always been great around them, but I wont be able to live with cats I'm afraid.
I am prone to a reoccurring ear infection, especially during the summer months so allergy related, so I do have some ear spray that helps with this, and I need to be on a good sensitive diet which will help with my ear and itchy skin. I am not a fan of being left for too long, as I just love being with my humans, so I am looking for a home where my owners will be around a lot of the time.
I cant wait to give you lots of kisses and love, bye for now, Poppy xx
