Meet Colin!

Hey, nice to meet you, I'm Colin the beautiful blue Whippet.
My previous owner loved me very much but due to a change in her circumstances she had to make the very hard decision to ask the lovely staff here at the centre for help in finding me a new home.
I am a little shy to start with, but have the sweetest of natures and it doesn't take me long before I'm following you around like a shadow and trying to be involved in everything! I walk beautifully on the lead and am pretty good off the lead too, unless I catch sight of a cat, dog or even something tasty to eat (like from a picnic on the beach)!
I love all people and am very friendly and bouncy, a bit too bouncy for small children possibly, but I am only very young still!
As I have already hinted, I have a very high prey drive, so I wouldn't be able to live with a cat I'm afraid, but I could possibly live with another dog as long as they can cope with my boisterous play, another whippet type may be nice!
I adore food, and to be honest I wouldn't think twice about stealing something when your back was turned, so you have been warned, and again this is why young children might not be the best for me as it would be too tempting not to snatch anything tasty that they have in their hands!
I am great to handle, although I may need a bit of help from some tasty treats if you are trying to trim my nails as I really don't like that. I am great around traffic and I really enjoy travelling in the car...my favourite spot is looking out of the window.
