Meet Agatha!

Hi everyone, I’m Agatha a rather special Chow Chow looking for my forever home. I’m on foster at the moment as I was very shut down in kennels, and cowered from people if they tried to touch me. After only 2 weeks I’ve made leaps and bounds in confidence and have started to show my true self. I now enjoy a belly rub and a groom! I’ve been able to discover lots of lovely things through the kindness of my fosterers and little by little I am becoming a much more confident girl.

My age is a big unknown as I was found as a stray, and as you might have seen from the charity’s recent fundraiser, I’ve had surgery to help with my breathing. I very much feel that the worst is behind me and I can’t wait to start my new life with a family of my own. I would prefer an adult only home with someone who is around a lot, however I don’t mind being left and will often find a sunny spot to snooze in whilst I wait.

My fosterer has introduced me to some new doggo friends and I think it could help to live with a chilled out dog to help me with my confidence even further. I am still very timid around strangers so if we were to meet at the centre please don’t think we can’t be friends! I just need extra time to learn to trust you, but once I do we will have a special bond for life.
