Meet Clyde!

Hello to you! My name is Clyde and I am a 8 year old cheeky chappy on the lookout for my new home!

I have had quite an unsettled and unpleasant past which means I can be worried by new people and by being over handled so I am looking for patient new owners who will show me how to trust humans again. I have made friends with many of the team here at the centre and they see the real cheeky side of me, where I love to play with anything that has a squeak and soft toys don't last long with me about.

I am a typical terrier on my walks, which I love by the way....I love to sniff and investigate everything, even rabbit holes! I prefer to be in quiet locations with not a lot of other dogs around, and with me being a terrier, cats are going to be far too tempting to chase I'm afraid... sorry!!

I am a bit of a ladies man.....and seem to bond easier with them, in fact once I feel safe you will see that I really like affection and wont be long before I'm hopping on my new friends lap as that is my favourite spot. If you've had terrier type dogs before that would be great as you will know how cheeky we can be! One of my favourite past times is sunbathing so a home with a lovely garden would be my dream.

I really hope to find my special family soon! All I ask is for patience and kindness and I promise I will come around as soon as I'm ready x
