Meet Bennet (& Lydia)!
Good day, I pray you will indulge me a few moments of your attention, for I write not on matters of society or fortune, but of something far more pressing: the seeking of a forever home.
My name is Bennet—a gentleman kitten of eight weeks, of cheerful constitution and excellent fluff. Along with my spirited sister Lydia, our dear mother Mrs Darcy, and our amiable brother Bingley, I was found in the most unceremonious of lodgings: a garden shed, quite lacking in refinement. By happy providence, we were rescued and brought to the animal centre, where we have been much indulged in warmth, food, and affection.
We are now of an age where our mother is gently encouraging us towards independence, and I, for one, feel most ready to make the acquaintance of a permanent and affectionate household.
As for myself—though I say it with the modesty of any well-to do kitten—I am a most agreeable fellow: fond of a good play, a warm lap, and the noble art of the nap. Lydia and I often tumble about with our toys in great merriment, before collapsing in what our carers call a "kitten puddle"—a most excellent manner of repose.
We would suit a household with gentle children who understand that kittens are not to be pinched or chased, but rather admired and played with most respectfully. We may even tolerate—nay, enjoy—the company of another feline companion or a dog, provided said dog is possessed of manners and a calm disposition.
Should your home have room for a young gentleman such as myself, and perhaps my vivacious sister Lydia too, I would be most delighted to take up residence and offer, in return, the sincerest affections of my little heart.
