Meet Nova!

Hello, I'm Nova, I’m around a year old, and I came to the rescue centre when I was pregnant. I was scared, unsure, and just trying to keep myself safe. But with the help of some very kind humans here at NAWT, I brought four beautiful kittens into the world—and together, we’ve been cared for and loved in a wonderful foster home ever since.

My babies are now ready for their forever homes... and that means it’s time for me to find mine, too.

I’m a gentle, sweet soul with a quiet kind of love. I might be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a bit of time, some gentle fuss, and kind words—and I’ll soon be nudging into your hand for cuddles and purring like there’s no tomorrow. I love affection once I know I’m safe.

I’m not a fan of dogs (they're just a bit too scary for me), but I might be okay living with a calm, friendly cat. I could also live with children—if they’re gentle and understand how to treat a sensitive girl like me with love and patience.

After giving so much of myself to raise my little ones, I’m ready to be someone’s baby now. A soft bed, a quiet home, and a human to love me for the sweet girl I am—that’s all I dream of.
