Meet Murray!
Hey, I'm Murray and I need a new home, wanna be friends?
I'm a happy, excitable little man who just loves to be with people, so being in a kennel isn't very fun for me and I just can't wait to find a real home. I came here as a stray, so not much is known about my past, but the team here have got to know me well over the last few weeks and they all think I'm a funny, adorable dog who will make a brilliant pet for the person lucky enough to adopt me.
You'll often find me right at the front of my kennel, trying to get the best view of everything going on outside, and trying to attract the most attention from everyone walking past, I love being fussed over so I'm always looking for ways to spend as much time with the humans as possible. If you're wondering how to build a friendship with me, the answer is easy - give me some treats and tell me how cute I am. I LOVE food and my favourite times of day are when I'm getting a delicious meal or a tasty snack.
I enjoy going out for walks and playing in the paddocks here, and I've made friends with a few of the other small dogs so sometimes we go out to walk or play together which is fun. I'd be happy to live with another small dog, as long as there's enough love to go around for the both of us! I've seen some cats around the centre and they never really bother me, so I may also be able to live with a laid back cat who is used to being around dogs and I'm happy to live with children of any age as long as they understand how to play with me nicely.
I'm finding it a little difficult to breathe clearly at the moment as my nose is very small and my airways are narrow. The vet team are going to give me a special surgery to help me which will be done before I go to my new home so I can live a much more comfortable and happy life. If you think that life could be spent by your side, register your interest in me today!
