Meet Bluebell!
Hey - if you are a supporter of the NAWT you will probably recognise me.....I'm Bluebell!
I am the little sassy Frenchie who the Trust have been fundraising for. I came into the centre and it quickly became clear that something wasn't quite right with my water works. After scans and investigations it was discovered that I had ectopic ureters and needed major surgery. I have had the surgery and have been recovering here at the centre but now the team think its time for me to fully recover in a home setting, so I am on the look out for someone to a foster me hopefully leading on to an adoption.
I am a typical French Bulldog and a little sassy one at that - I am very nosey, and like to choose where I go and when, and will do everything in my own time!
I love fuss and attention and am very partial to a back scratch. I will happily hop on to your lap so we can have lots of snuggles.
I settle well, and can be left alone for a period of time.
I have previously lived with children and cats but I will need to be the only dog in the home, as although I can pass dogs when out on my walks I am not a fan of them in my space at home.
I love my food and really enjoy using my nose to sniff out treats - snuffle mats are one of my favourite toys.
I travel really well in the car so we will be able to go off for all kinds of adventures, and I really am hoping that my new home has a nice garden as I love rolling about in the grass.
I'm not a fan of water though so baths aren't something I enjoy, and I also hate loud bangs and noises so a nice peaceful home would be best for me.
The staff would like to find a foster home for me where I can still be monitored after my major surgery. They are very hopeful that the operation has been a success, but it's early days, and my wee habits aren't back to normal just yet. Here's hoping there is a special home out there for me xx
