Meet Buster!

Buster is a small Chihuahua with a big heart that’s just beginning to heal. After coming from a difficult and uncertain past, Buster was understandably scared and unsure when he first arrived. Loud noises, sudden movements, and new faces can still make him nervous, but each day he’s learning that the world isn’t such a scary place.

He’s recently taken his first steps on walks, and though his paws are still hesitant, he’s starting to enjoy the smells and sights of the outdoors. Buster is slowly opening up to us and beginning to trust, one gentle interaction at a time. He needs a patient, loving adopter who understands that progress takes time — someone willing to go at his pace and celebrate every small victory.

With kindness, consistency, and a quiet environment, Buster has every potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. He would thrive in a calm home, ideally with someone experienced in helping shy dogs build confidence.
