NAWT Hertfordshire

Our first rescue and re-homing centre, the Watford site had previously been a commercial boarding facility since at least the 1930s, and during the Second World War was advertised as a safe place to evacuate your pets to from London to avoid the Blitz. The four and a half acre site is still providing a place of safety and rehabilitation to more than 400 animals a year.

If you need to relinquish an animal to us, please contact our reception team so we can discuss the next steps with you. If you would like to rehome an animal from us, please head over to our rehoming page.

If you would like to donate items to help care for our animals, we have donation bins outside our reception areas. However, we advise to contact us in advance, to check if we are currently accepting your item(s).

Anything you are able to donate financially, is much appreciated, and will help us continue to care for the homeless pets that come through our doors. Thank you.
