NAWT Hertfordshire
Our first rescue and re-homing centre, the Watford site had previously been a commercial boarding facility since at least the 1930s, and during the Second World War was advertised as a safe place to evacuate your pets to from London to avoid the Blitz.
The four and a half acre site is still providing a place of safety and rehabilitation to more than 400 animals a year.
Our charity shop is open from 11am – 4pm every day except Tuesday.
Our pet accessory shop is open from 9am – 4pm every day.
We also offer pet boarding services for dogs and small animals, so that you can head off on holiday safe in the knowledge that your pet is enjoying their time away from home with experts in animal care.
If you are thinking of holding a private or corporate event in the area, take a look at our newly launched events centre, available to hire from just £40 for half a day.
