Discover the Latest Edition of Animate
Our latest edition of Animate, the magazine from the National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT), is here!
Packed with stories from across the Trust, this edition gives you a closer look at the people, pets and projects that help make our work possible. From celebrating an important milestone at our Berkshire centre to introducing members of our growing team, there’s plenty to discover.
Meet Lisa, Head of NAWT Pet Support in Clacton
One of the highlights of this edition is meeting Lisa, who heads up our new NAWT Pet Support service in Clacton.
Our Pet Support services are designed to help people and their pets stay together wherever possible, providing practical support to pet owners who may be facing challenging circumstances.
In Animate, Lisa shares more about her role, the importance of supporting pets and their people, and what the new service means for the local community.
Celebrating 25 Years in Berkshire
This year also marks an incredible 25 years of our Berkshire centre.
For a quarter of a century, our Berkshire team has been helping animals in need, providing them with care, rehabilitation and the chance to find loving new homes.
The anniversary is a wonderful opportunity to look back at the centre's history, celebrate the people who have helped make it what it is today, and look ahead to the future of animal welfare.
Meet Some of the NAWT Team
Behind every animal we help is a dedicated team of people working tirelessly to make a difference.
In this edition of Animate, we introduce some of the new members of the NAWT team, giving you the chance to get to know the people behind the scenes and find out more about what brought them to the Trust.
From caring directly for animals to supporting our wider work, every member of our team plays an important part in helping us Rescue, Rehome and Rehabilitate.
