Would you like to Buy-A-Brick to be placed in our Bedfordshire centre?
If you have been following us on our journey, then you will have seen that our NAWT Bedfordshire centre is currently in need of some extra help. While the centre is a lifeline to thousands of animals, the facilities are crumbling around us, and are not fit for purpose for our furry residents, and staff.
We hope to generate enough support to raise funds to help towards installing new animal accommodation and facilities. This means we can then continue to provide a high-end level of care for homeless and abandoned animals. Thanks to your help, we are moving forward at a positive rate, and are closer to reaching our goal.
NAWT Bedfordshire Centre Manager Carley has said:
“It is going really, really well. We’ve passed our halfway point with £235,000 out of the £400,000 target raised. People like our local community have been incredibly generous, and our Christmas appeal, called Double Donations, raised very nearly £50,000 for the centre which is incredible.”
We are now able to build three new catteries, two new kennels and isolation units, due to the incredible support received throughout the Christmas period. We received a generous amount of donations, coupled with grants and other fundraisers within the local community and businesses.

For our latest fundraising appeal, we wanted to give our supporters the opportunity to buy a commemorative brick, and become a part of this historic moment.
Carley explained:
“This is where we can offer animal lovers the opportunity to be a permanent part of our history, with a brick of their own that will be on display at our rehoming centre for the lifetime of the new buildings.”
Each brick can be engraved with a message of your choosing. It might be a tribute to a loved one, a message of hope to the pets awaiting new homes, or a celebration of your own beloved pet. The decision is yours and your message will be set in stone as a reminder of the part you played in building a safe haven, and a brighter future for animals who need it most.
With Mother’s Day on the horizon, this is a unique gift that provides a lasting memory for you and your loved ones.
We have two options available, a two-line brick or a four-line brick. The bricks will be installed once the building work is complete, which is planned for late 2023, and all brick owners will be invited to the grand opening, where you will be able to see your brick in situ. So keep an eye out for your invite!
