Watford Retail Volunteer – Join Our Pet Donated Shop Team
Are you looking to volunteer in Watford and make a real difference to animals in need? We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to join our brand-new onsite Pet Donated Shop at National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT).
This is not a traditional charity shop selling clothes or books. Our unique retail space is dedicated entirely to pet-related products including pet coats, beds, toys, food, accessories and more. Every purchase helps us continue our vital work rescuing and rehoming animals across Hertfordshire and beyond.
If you are passionate about animals, enjoy retail, and would love to support a local animal charity, this retail volunteer role in Watford could be perfect for you.
Why Volunteer in Our Watford Pet Shop?
Our onsite shops simply couldn’t operate without our amazing volunteers. As a Watford Retail Volunteer, you will work alongside our Retail Coordinator and as part of a friendly team to:
- Create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience
- Keep the shop clean, organised and inviting
- Sort and prepare donated pet stock ready for sale
- Replenish shelves and rotate stock
- Assist with pricing items
- Help refresh shop layouts and create eye-catching displays
Most importantly, you will help raise essential funds to support NAWT’s mission to rescue and rehome animals.
Volunteer Hours – Flexible Shifts Available
We are currently seeking volunteers to help cover shifts between 11:00am and 3:00pm, Wednesday to Monday.
Please note: We are closed on Tuesdays.
Whether you are looking for a regular weekly commitment or occasional volunteering, we offer flexibility to suit your schedule.
