Treat an animal


Would you like to buy something for the animals?

Our Amazon wish lists are full of items we use in the centre to keep the animals happy and healthy. This includes a range of things from toys and Open Paw training equipment to scratching posts, collars and beds. If you choose to treat an animal at your local centre, your gift will be delivered direct to the centre of your choice once you complete your online purchase.

Every centre has its own list so simply click on the one you’d like to support and select the gift you wish to send.

If you shop via and select National Animal Welfare Trust as your chosen charity, you can also raise further funds for the animals at no further cost to you. Amazon will donate a percentage of every purchase you make directly to NAWT. A useful tool to automatically redirect you to every time you shop can be found here:

Donate old or unwanted items for the animals to enjoy

Please note: Due to the current pandemic, we aren't able to accept all of the below items at all of our centres right now. Therefore, please call your local centre in advance of making a trip to donate these items.

Many of your old and unwanted items can create a wonderful gift for a homeless animal. Every year, each of our centres get through hundreds of the following items:

  • Blankets
  • Towels
  • Bed Sheets
  • Newspapers
  • Cat/Dog food and treats
  • Animal Toys

If you’d like to donate any of the above items to your local centre, the animals will greatly appreciate your support.

Donate old or unwanted items that can help us raise money

Listed below are items that you may no longer have any use for, but which we can use as a charity to raise much-needed funds for the animals in our care:

  • Used postage stamps
  • Unwanted foreign currency
  • Any unwanted jewellery, odd earrings, broken chains, costume jewellery, watches. In all materials: plastic, wood, bronze, gold, silver and metal.

If you’d like to donate any of the above items, please drop them off at your local centre or send them to our Head Office.
