Meet Lola!

Hello everyone, my name is Lola, and my friends here at the centre say I look just like a baby deer!

I may be a teeny weeny little one but I have so much love to give, and just need some help in building up my confidence.

In typical Chihuahua style I can be quite noisy initially when meeting new people and dogs or when going to new places, but I soon settle down and am happy to say hi and make new friends.

Due to my size I will need gentle handling but am a real fuss pot once I know you. I walk well on my lead and am looking forward to getting out and about with my new owners as I haven't done much of this lately due to my previous family's circumstances.

I have lived with other dogs in the past but it would need careful management if I was to again, as I am known to squabble over food, treats and my owners attention. I am able to live with cats though with no issues at all so maybe a new feline friend is on the cards for me. I have lived with children before and as long as there are boundaries in place around food I could do again.

I am ok to leave home alone as long as I have a warm and cosy bed or spot on the sofa, but I have been known to toilet inside so I will need kind and patient new owners who are prepared to work with me on this.

I really hope I can find my new forever family soon x
