Meet Mayo (& Hummus)!

Hello! We’re Mayo and Hummus, a brother-and-sister duo with big personalities, busy little paws, and a talent for finding our way into places we probably shouldn’t be! We’re still young, full of fun, and always on the lookout for our next adventure. If there’s something exciting happening, you can be sure we’ll want to be right in the middle of it!

Our journey hasn’t always been easy. When we first arrived, Hummus was quite poorly, and we needed lots of care and attention from the lovely humans looking after us. Thankfully, things have moved in the right direction, and we’ve been able to grow into the playful, curious little characters we are today. We’ve come a long way together, and now we’re ready to find a forever home where our adventures can continue.

Now, every good team needs a leader, and in our little partnership, that job definitely belongs to Mayo! Mayo is the ring leader of the group, and he’s always the first to lead the charge out of our kennel and straight into the kitchen. Why? Because he knows exactly where the food and the toys are kept! He’s a clever little bean who likes to stay one step ahead of the humans, and he’s become quite the furry Houdini.

You see, the humans always do a head count before they shut the door, but Mayo has developed a rather impressive talent for slipping through at just the right moment. One second he’s accounted for, and the next he’s making a sneaky dash towards the kitchen before anyone can catch up! Honestly, we think he might be studying for a career in professional escape artistry. The humans may need to keep their wits about them with this one!

Hummus is usually close behind her brother, because where Mayo goes, Hummus is never far away. She’s happy to follow his lead and investigate all the exciting things he discovers. When Mayo finds a toy, Hummus is often right there, ready to play with it once he’s finished. It’s a pretty good arrangement, really. Mayo does the exploring, and Hummus gets the rewards.

Of course, even two busy little adventurers need their rest. After all the dashing about, toy hunting, and kitchen escapades, we eventually run out of steam. That’s when you’ll find us curled up together in bed, all snuggled in and fast asleep. We might be little whirlwinds when we’re awake, but we know how to appreciate a cosy snooze when the time comes.

We’re hoping to find a forever home together, where we can keep each other company and share all the wonderful things life has to offer. We’d love a family who can give us plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and grow, with lots of toys to keep our curious minds busy and cosy beds ready for when our batteries finally run flat.
