Meet Maggie!

Hello, darling. My name is Maggie, and I’m a 10-year-old lady who believes that life should be comfortable, peaceful, and entirely on my own terms.

At my age, I’ve had plenty of time to perfect the art of being a cat. I know what I like, I know what I don’t like, and I’m not afraid to let my opinions be known. I’m a sweet girl who enjoys a little fuss from people I deem acceptable, and trust me, being accepted by me is quite the compliment!

Of course, there are rules. You may stroke me when I’m in the mood, admire me whenever you please, and tell me how lovely I am as often as you like. But when I decide it’s time for a nap, I expect my wishes to be respected. Even the most charming of ladies need their beauty sleep, after all. I reserve the right to change my mind about absolutely anything, at absolutely any time. It’s all part of my charm.

I’m now looking for a lovely home where I can spend my twilight years enjoying the finer things in life: cosy places to snooze, a peaceful environment, and kind humans who understand that love doesn’t always have to mean constant cuddles. Sometimes, the best kind of companionship is simply sharing a room with someone who makes you feel safe, while you both get on with doing very little.

I came into care with my friend Queenie, and while I’m perfectly happy to find a home of my own, I’d also be delighted if there were a special family out there willing to welcome both of us.

What matters most is finding somewhere I can settle down, feel comfortable, and enjoy the peace and security every older cat deserves. I may not be a bouncy little kitten anymore, but I have plenty of sweetness left to share with the right person.

If you have a soft spot for cats who know their own minds, appreciate a quiet life, and believe that a good nap is never to be interrupted, I think we could get along beautifully.

I’m ready for my next chapter now. Somewhere cosy, somewhere safe, and somewhere I can put my paws up and enjoy being somebody’s much-loved girl.
