Meet Dakota (& Alabama)!

Howdy, partners! We’re Dakota and Alabama, two sweet little sidekicks looking for a place to hang our hats... and call home!

We’re now seven months old, and somehow we’re still waiting for our forever family. We’ve been enjoying life in foster, where we’ve grown so much more confident and discovered that home comforts are pretty wonderful. Now we’re ready for our next big adventure: a home of our very own, together!

Our story started in a garage, where we were found with our mum. When help arrived, she became frightened and ran away, but the lovely NAWT team kept coming back every day until we could all be reunited. Since then, we’ve been learning that people can be kind, cosy beds are excellent, and life has plenty of good things in store.

These days, there’s much more yeehaw in our step! We love playing together, chasing, pouncing and galloping around during our kitten zoomies. Every good cowboy needs a trusty partner, and we’ve certainly found ours in each other. Once we’ve finished rounding up our toys, you’ll often find us curled up in a cosy cuddle pile, resting after a hard day on the kitten ranch.

Give us a gentle welcome and a chance to settle, and you’ll soon see our sweet personalities and playful little characters shine.

Our dream homestead would be a calm, quieter home with kind people, comfy snoozing spots and plenty of opportunities for fun. We could live with older, understanding children who respect our space, and potentially a calm, friendly cat. A home without dogs would suit us best.

We’ve spent enough time watching the sun set while waiting for someone to choose us. We’re still young, full of fun, and have a whole lifetime of companionship ahead of us, we just need someone to give us our chance.
