Meet Teddy!

Hi, I’m Teddy! I’m a nine-week-old Maltipoo boy with a fluffy little face, a clever mind and a very important mission: to find a family who will love me as much as I love my toys! I play with every single one, but anything that makes a scrunchy sound is a particular favourite.

I’m learning lots already! I’m beginning to recognise my name, and I know that “wee wee” means a trip into the garden. My toilet training is still a work in progress, so I’ll need regular trips outside after eating, playing and sleeping, but I’m picking things up quickly and having fewer little accidents. I also sit beautifully for my four meals a day. Being adorable is hungry work!

Like any puppy, I have bursts of zoomies, charging around with my toys before suddenly deciding it’s nap time. Sometimes I curl up into a little ball, and sometimes I sleep flat on my back with all four paws in the air! When I get overexcited, I can become a bit mouthy, especially around feet and ankles, so I’ll need gentle, consistent guidance while I learn how to play nicely.

I absolutely love the dog in my foster home and enjoy playing with him. I’ve been quite respectful for such a little youngster, so I could potentially enjoy a home with a suitable canine friend. My confidence is growing every day, and I love exploring the garden, investigating leaves and following my humans around. You’ll need to watch where you step because your tiny Teddy-shaped shadow might be right behind you!

Once I’m fully vaccinated, I’ll need help learning about lead walks and continuing to discover the world through positive experiences and socialisation. So far, most things seem quite exciting... although I’m still suspicious of the hoover!

I’m looking for a family with plenty of time for puppy care, patient training, play and cuddles to help me grow into a confident good boy!
