Meet Earl!

Hi everyone! It's me, Earl here and I cannot wait to tell you all about me!

I came to the centre as a stray so little is known about my past, but I am SO smart and know lots of important things, such as which toys are the best and how to get my humans to give me another treat.... along with all the boring tricks like sit, lie down, wait... YAWNNN!

I am a big over grown puppy weighing in at 37KG and apparently I do need to learn about my size and keeping my paws on the floor, but I am ever so food motivated so training me is a breeze, once I'm paying attention, of course. I love to play and tug has become a favourite game of mine, although I do like to chase as well and the flirt pole has become a winner here for me.

Being a social butterfly, I truly believe that everyone and everything is all about me and I like to say hello to all on my journeys. Humans, dogs, pigs, deer - everyone is a friend for me! I can sometimes forget that you're holding my lead and you might need to remind me of my manners when walking but I am learning quickly here so I reckon I'll be a polite boy in no time.

I have met some dogs here and I'm all about the play and bouncing around with them. I think it could really be cool to have a doggy brother or sister but they will need to be up for a lot of wrestling and running around so maybe a bigger dog would be better.

My people here have said that I would be too boisterous for a feline friend so a home without cats is more my style - but I might be able to have some sensible smaller humans in my life if they are used to bigger dogs.
