Meet Harmony !

Hi! My name is Harmony, I’m a very special little kitten with a big personality and an even bigger story.

I was born here at the centre, but sadly, my litter became incredibly unwell and my sisters were just too poorly to survive. I came frighteningly close to losing my own battle too. There were several times when the vets really didn’t think I was going to make it. But somewhere inside my tiny little body was an enormous amount of fight and now everyone calls me a little miracle.

A member of staff took me home and hand-reared me, giving me round-the-clock care, endless cuddles, and everything I needed to give me the best possible chance. Everyone kept telling me I had to be a fighter, so I fought and fought and somehow, little by little, I got stronger. I’ve amazed the vets who cared for me, and the tiny, fragile kitten who once had everyone so worried is now happy and healthy with a whole lot of living to do.

I’m a very entertaining kitten with plenty of character, and I have decided that being a cat parrot is one of my most important jobs. If there is a human shoulder available, I will be on it. Whether you have invited me up or not is completely irrelevant. I will simply launch myself onto your shoulder and happily sit there while you walk around the house, giving me the best possible view of all the goings-on below.

While I’m perched up there, you’ll hear my little jet-engine purr going at full volume because I am just so happy to be with you. I absolutely adore people and love being close to my humans. You might even come home one day to find my adorable little face staring out of the window, waiting as patiently as I can for you to come back and pay me some attention.

Now that I’m finally feeling strong and healthy, I’ve discovered the joy of playing! My fosterer says that hearing the pitter-patter of my tiny paws as I zoom around the room is one of the most wonderful things, especially when you remember how poorly and lethargic I once was. These days, I’m making up for lost time with plenty of adventures, mischief, and kitten zoomies.

I really am amazing, and everyone who meets me instantly falls completely in love with me. Now I’m ready for my forever home where I can continue growing, playing, exploring, and, of course, shoulder surfing whenever the opportunity presents itself.

I’ve already fought so hard for my happy ending. I think it’s finally time I found it, don't you?
