Meet Buddy!

Hi, I’m Buddy!

I’m a gorgeous French Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I can be a little unsure when I meet new people, so I’m looking for someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to be patient with me.

I might not rush up to greet you straight away, but please don’t take it personally! I just need a little time to get to know you and learn that you’re someone I can trust. A few visits with me at the centre would be really important so I can get to know you at my own pace and start building that special bond.

And once I trust you? Well, you’ll have a friend for life!

I’m an incredibly loyal little man and a complete cuddle bug and lap dog. Once I know you’re my person, I’ll happily snuggle up beside you and soak up all the love and attention I can get. I really am happiest when I’m close to the people I love.

Although I’m okay with children, I can sometimes become a little too protective of them, so I’m looking for an adult-only home where I can relax and enjoy being someone’s special little companion without feeling like I need to look after anyone.

I’d also like to be the only dog in my new home. I can become easily overwhelmed, so having a calm environment where I don’t have to share my space with another dog would help me feel safe, settled and happy.

I know I might need a little more patience at the beginning, but if you’re willing to give me the time I need, I promise it will be worth it. Once I’ve decided you’re my person, you’ll have one of the most loyal, loving and cuddly little companions you could wish for.
