Meet Violet!

Hello, I’m Violet!

I’m a beautiful Akita x Malinois.

I’m an incredibly intelligent girl who absolutely loves to learn, and I already know lots of tricks. Training is something I really enjoy, so I’m looking for a family who will keep my clever brain busy and give me lots of opportunities to learn new things.

I’m an energetic girl who would love an active family who can keep up with me both physically and mentally. I’m not just looking for walks — I’d love to have a home where I can learn new tricks, play games, explore, and have plenty of enrichment to keep my mind entertained. I also love playing fetch with a ball, so a good game of fetch is definitely one of my favourite ways to have fun and burn off some of my energy!

Despite my clever and energetic side, I’m also an incredibly affectionate and loving girl. I’m friendly with everyone I meet and I adore getting attention from my people. I form really strong bonds with my humans and am an incredibly loyal girl who loves being part of her family.

I’m house trained, and I can settle happily on my own at home when my alone time is built up gradually and sensibly. I’ll need my new family to continue this at my own pace rather than expecting me to be left for long periods straight away, but with the right routine I can learn that being home alone is nothing to worry about.

I’m also good with children and could potentially live with older children who are comfortable around a larger, energetic dog. As with any dog, I’d love a family who understands my needs and will give me the guidance and boundaries I need to thrive.

When it comes to other animals, I do have a high prey drive, so I’m not suitable to live with cats. I’m okay with other dogs, but I’d prefer to be the only dog in my new home, where I can have all the attention and one-to-one time with my family.

I tend to be more comfortable with larger dogs, as very tiny dogs can sometimes look a little too much like prey to me. For this reason, my ideal home would be one where I don’t have to share my space with another dog.

I’m a very special girl who has so much to offer the right family. I’m clever, obedient, affectionate and incredibly loyal, and I’ll thrive with people who enjoy having a dog they can really work with and build a strong bond with.

All I need now is an active, loving family who will keep my brain busy, give me plenty of adventures, play lots of fetch and let me be the devoted best friend I know I can be. I’m ready to learn, ready to love and ready to find my forever home!
