Meet Flynn!

Hello, I’m Flynn! I’m a gorgeous Lurcher with a big heart, a playful personality, and a serious love of cuddles. I’m looking for a special forever family who will be patient with me, help me build my confidence, and show me that the world isn’t quite as scary as it can sometimes seem.

I’m a bit of an insecure boy when it comes to new things, and I can find unfamiliar places, experiences and situations a little overwhelming. I’m looking for someone who understands that I may need a little time to process things and who will gently guide me at my own pace. Once I feel safe and comfortable, my lovely personality really starts to shine!

I absolutely adore my cuddles and love being close to my favourite people. I’m also a playful boy and enjoy having fun, so there’s definitely plenty of silliness and affection waiting to be discovered. I’m a very loving chap who just needs someone to help me feel confident enough to show it.

I can make friends with other dogs, although I’m still learning how to behave appropriately when I meet dogs I don’t know. I would benefit from continued socialisation and patient guidance to help me understand these situations and become more confident around unfamiliar dogs.

I could potentially live with older teenagers who are dog savvy and understand that I can be a little unsure in new situations. Having people around me who are calm, patient and respectful of my boundaries would help me feel safe and comfortable in my new home.

My ideal home is with someone patient, experienced and understanding who will give me the time and encouragement I need to find my feet. I don’t need someone to expect me to be perfect straight away — I need someone who will show me the way, celebrate my little victories and help me grow in confidence.

In return, I promise to give you plenty of cuddles, lots of love and my wonderfully playful personality. I may need a little extra patience at the beginning, but with the right person by my side, I know I can blossom into a happy and confident boy.
