Meet Missy!

Meet Missy a 12 year old cat looking for her forever home. Sadly, Missy has had several homes throughout her life, so she is looking for a patient and understanding family who will let her settle at her own pace and love her for the independent lady she is.

Missy enjoys the quieter things in life. A cosy bed, a peaceful spot to snooze, and a calm home are all high on her list of favourites. While she isn't a cat who demands constant attention, she forms strong bonds with the people she trusts and shows her affection in subtle, heart-warming ways. She'll often be there to greet you when you arrive home, although she is wary of hands and prefers affection on her own terms. Rather than being stroked, Missy loves weaving around your legs and rubbing against you to say hello.

Missy enjoys having people nearby and will happily relax in the same room as you. One of her sweetest habits is curling up beside your feet, making sure her paws are touching yours as her quiet way of showing she cares. Since being in foster, Missy's confidence has continued to grow, and she has even started climbing onto her foster carer's lap for short cuddles, purring contentedly and kneading away.

Despite her age, Missy still has a playful side. She loves toys, particularly those with feathers or ribbons, and she still enjoys the occasional burst of zoomies around the house. Catnip and Dreamies are guaranteed to make her day even brighter!

Missy would ideally like a home where she has the option of both indoor and outdoor access so she can enjoy relaxing in the sunshine. However, an indoor-only home would also be considered, as she has shown very little interest in venturing outside in her foster home.

She is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with no other pets, where she can enjoy a peaceful life and continue to build her confidence. In return, you'll gain the companionship of a loyal cat whose affection is all the more rewarding because it is given so genuinely.
