Meet Alf!

Hello... I’m Alf, and if you're looking for a best friend who's always up for an adventure, I might just be your perfect match!

I’m a young, energetic boy with a huge zest for life. Everything is exciting to me, whether it's heading out for a walk, playing with my favourite toys, or spending time with the people I love. Sometimes I get so enthusiastic that my brain struggles to keep up with my legs, but I mean well and I'm always ready to learn.

The humans here describe me as incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of character. I absolutely love people and will happily seek out attention whenever I can. If you're looking for a dog who wants to be involved in everything you're doing, I'm definitely your guy.

I enjoy playing with tennis balls and rope toys, and I'm just as happy entertaining myself as I am playing with you. I'm also very gentle when taking treats and already know how to sit, especially when there's a tasty reward involved!

Like many young dogs, I still have a few things to learn. I can get very excited on walks and currently pull on the lead, so I'll need a family who can continue my training and help me learn some good manners. The good news is that I'm food-motivated, eager to engage with people, and keen to learn, which makes me a great candidate for positive training.

I can be a bit of a whirlwind at times, but underneath all that energy is a truly sweet-natured boy who just wants love, fun, and a family to call his own. Before I head off to my forever home, I'll also be having a routine operation to correct my entropion, a condition where my eyelid rolls inwards and my eyelashes rub against my eye, causing irritation. The surgery will help keep me comfortable, and I'll be looking forward to enjoying life with happy, healthy eyes.
