Meet Samson!

Hello everyone I'm Samson.

If you are looking for a slightly older well behaved lad I may be just the dog for you.

I have come into the centre as a stray so the team have had to learn all about me. But so far they have discovered that I am a very friendly chap with no handling issues at all. I walk really well on my lead......at quite a pace I do have to say, but I am not fazed by anything out and about so will make an ideal walking companion. I do have a very inquisitive nose and like to spend my time sniffing out new things.

Samson is a new name for me so I am just getting used to that, and will need to continue with my recall and connection work. I like to stay close by to my handler though so won't venture off too far I promise. I'm not that interested in playing with toys but would much rather have a tasty treat or some fuss and attention from you.

I'm not bothered by cats so may be able to live with one, and I have walked out with several other dogs here at the centre without any problems so could possibly live with another canine friend.

I am not a fan of being left alone though and will bark, so will need a home that has someone around a lot of the time.

I do hope there is a new home out there just for me x Samson x
