Meet Luna!

Hey there, I'm Luna.

I am a lovely looking smaller sized female Husky. Due to a relationship breakdown I am looking for a new home. My current owner has her hands full with 2 young children and I am not currently going out for any walks.......I love my walks so am really missing them and am feeling a bit bored!!!!

I am a very friendly girl but I'm not the cuddly type and will only want a fuss when I feel like it. Like most Husky types, I am fiercely independent and like to do things in my own time and to be honest I have zero recall skills so will need to remain on a long line unless in a secure area. I am super clever and have figured out how to open doors and even some locks, so you will need to have a secure home and garden (but I know I am being more of a Houdini than normal lately as I am just not getting the exercise and stimulation that I need).

I am such a good girl when left at home alone, I am clean and settle well. At night time I love to sleep on my owners bed. I am currently living with another dog with no issues at all, and I am very playful if I meet dogs outside of the home - I may just be a bit bouncy for some. I am currently living with children but because I don't appreciate being disturbed when I'm sleeping, I think a home with older teenage children would be better suited to me. A home with a garden is a real must for me as I like to spend as much time outside as possible come rain or shine.

I am a bit of a drama queen and will howl when having my nails trimmed and I will sing when the phone rings, so be prepared for lots of husky chats with me.

Luna is on our Home Direct Scheme where she remains with her current owner until a suitable match is found. All meets will be conducted here at the centre with the staff.
