Meet Stewie!

Hi... I’m Stewie, I'm around 2.5 years old and a Boxer Cross.

I’m not really sure how I ended up here... I was left at a vet practice, and then I came to the rescue. Everyone’s been very kind to me, but I have to be honest...I really don’t like kennel life. It makes me feel quite sad, and I don’t always understand why I’m here.

But when I’m with people? That’s when you see the real me. I’m a very sweet, gentle boy who absolutely loves his humans. I just want to be close, to feel safe, and to be loved again.
I’m good with other dogs and I do like having them around. Sometimes other dogs can be a little unsure of me, but I’m always polite and gentle, I never want any trouble, I just want to be friends.

I could potentially live with an older, calm resident dog who will help me settle in, and I could also live with older teenage children who understand I’m a sensitive soul. I haven't been around any cats so I'm not sure how I would manage around them.

More than anything, I’m just looking for my person, someone who will see what a gentle, loving boy I am and give me the chance to shine. I might not always be the one pushing to the front, but I have such a kind heart and so much love to give.

I dream of a home where I can truly relax, be myself, and share all that affection I’ve been saving up. A cosy sofa, kind hands, and someone to call my own... that’s all I’ve ever wanted.
