Meet Rupert!

Hello there, my name is Rupert, and I’m a five-year-old gentleman who’s very ready to find my forever home.

My story could have ended very differently. I came into rescue from the pound with a date already set for me to be put to sleep. Thankfully, the kind people here stepped in just in time and gave me the chance I deserved, and I’ve been showing them every day what a lovely, sweet boy I am.

If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I absolutely adore my people. I love love. I’m happiest when I’m near my humans, quietly enjoying their company.

I’m also quite the entertainer when it comes to toys. I’m more than happy amusing myself with them, tossing them around and having a little play.

When it comes to other animals, I’m actually pretty easy-going. I don’t mind dogs and I’m quite indifferent to them, but I’d prefer one who respects my space and doesn’t get too much in my face. It would be best for me not to live with cats, just to be on the safe side. I could happily live with teenage children who understand that even a gentleman like me sometimes needs a little personal space.

Mostly though, I’m just looking for what every dog deserves, a warm home, a loving human, and a comfy spot where I can finally relax and be part of a family.

After everything I’ve been through, I’m more than ready for my happy ending.
