Meet Rosie!

Hi, I'm Rosie, a little while ago, my whole world changed. My owner sadly passed away, and my two sisters and I found ourselves at the rescue. We hadn’t been looked after very well for a while, horrible fleas made our skin sore and left us with patchy bald bums. But the lovely people here helped us get better. The itching is gone, my fur is growing back, and I’m starting to feel like myself again.

My sisters have already found their new homes (lucky things!) and while I’m so happy for them... it means I’m the one still waiting.

I’m about 11 years old, but please don’t let that fool you, I’ve got so much love left to give. Everyone here says I’m an absolute sweetheart. I love people, I’m gentle with children, and I’m happy to make doggy friends too. The only thing is... I probably couldn’t live with a cat. They’re just a bit too confusing for me.

I’m almost ready to go home. I just need to have a little dental treatment, and then I’ll be good to go. I also have a slight luxating patella, so I’m currently taking some medication to help keep me comfortable while I wait for my forever home.

The rescue is taking applications now so that hopefully my forever family will be ready and waiting for me.

I’ve been through a lot recently, but I haven’t stopped believing that there’s a comfy bed, kind hands, and a family out there who will love me for the rest of my days.
