Meet Monty!

Hi everyone! It’s Monty here and I’ll be pleased to meet you. As an ex-racing Greyhound I’ve hung up my racing boots and I’m ready and raring to settle these paws into a place to call home.

I’m friendly with people and have enjoyed making new friends. I’ve been enjoying getting my paws out on walks and seeing what this big wide world has to offer. I’m also a huge food enthusiast and will use my big long nose to sniff out those tasty snacks!

I've been lucky enough to spend time living in a foster home so I've been learning all about home life and have been adapting well. I am happy to be left alone for a few hours and happily entertain myself. I have also learnt the joys of relaxing on the sofa and have been enjoying my walks, including trips to the seaside.

I’ll be best suited to homes where any children are of teenage years. I won’t be looking to share my home with any cats or small furries. As for other dogs, if I was to live with another dog then I may be best suited to homes with similar breeds to me but we could see how we get along here at the Centre anyway. Otherwise I'll be more than content being the only pooch in your life! If you think I could be the boy for you, then I can’t wait to hear from you!
