Meet Heather!

Hi there, I'm Heather and like the flowering plant I am named after I am very much a symbol of beauty and will bring one very lucky owner lots of good luck!!!

I have come into the centre as a stray so the team here have just been getting to know me, and I have heard them say, what a "special little girl" I am which makes me very happy! I love having fun playing, going on walks and getting the zoomies just as much as I adore having fuss, attention and cuddles so I am a great little allrounder.

I am extremely clever and very eager to please. I have discovered that I get rewarded with treats when I do something good here, and I just love my food so I cant wait to do more and more training. I do get a bit giddy with excitement and can't sit still for long so I will need owners who are going to praise me for not jumping up but for when I keep all 4 paws on the floor, and for helping me continue with all my basic training including toileting.

Because I was a stray, the staff here don't know if I have ever lived with children, but I am so friendly that they don't think that will be an issue. But they have noticed that because I am such a people dog that I wouldn't suit a home where I am going to be left for long periods. I am great with other dogs and have enjoyed off lead play time with my pals here and may also be able to live with a cat, what more could you ask for!!

I have had a full health check with the vet since arriving arriving at the centre and they do believe that I have been bred from in the past and have found a couple of lumps on my mammary glands which are going to be removed when I am in for neutering next week. So now with the love and care of the staff here and hopefully my new family too.......it's my time to shine!!!!
