Meet Muriel!

Hi, I'm Muriel,
Some of you may remember my story. I was once found straying, doing my very best to care for my three precious babies all on my own. Thanks to a kind person and the lovely team at NAWT, I was kept safe and warm until my kittens were grown, and then I found a wonderful home of my own.

For a while, life was everything I’d hoped for. I was cherished, settled, and truly loved. But very sadly, my owner passed away, and through no fault of my own, I’ve found myself back in rescue care.

It’s been a confusing time, but everyone says I’ve been incredibly brave and sweet. I’m still the same gentle, quiet soul, around 2–3 years old now, with a big heart and so much love to give. I adore head rubs, soft fuss, and a cosy spot where I can curl up and feel safe. I’m not demanding or noisy; I just want to be near my person, sharing calm, peaceful moments.

I’ve lived happily in a home before, so I know how to be a lovely companion. In my ideal home, I could live with gentle children who understand kind hands and quiet time. I may be able to share with a calm, friendly cat (with slow introductions), but dogs are still a bit too scary for me.

Losing my person has been very hard, but I know there’s someone out there with room in their heart for a sweet girl who just wants to belong again.
