Meet Penelope!

Can anyone help me.....I'm Penelope and I'm looking for my new home!

I am an absolute poppet only weighing in at 3kg at the moment - but the team here are feeding me up so I can be big and strong to face the world and be ready for my new home. However, do not be fooled by my size...I may be little but I have the biggest personality!

With me being a Toy Poodle I am very clever, so I am looking for a new owner who not only gives me lots of love (because I like that a lot!!!!) but who will also spend time teaching me new things and letting me use my brain. I particularly love using my nose for lots of sniffing and I will be a dab hand at tricks. I am good on my walks and am very playful so I hope you have lots of toys. I am a very active and agile little girl so will need someone who can cope with my energy. The team here have introduced me to agility and I love it, so yes, I very much want a lovely warm lap to curl up on but I also can't wait to live life to the full.

I can be a bit wary of new people or places, and may be quite vocal until I feel safe and secure, which doesn't take me long. I will need a home and an owner who is nice, calm and gentle as I can be scared of loud noises and I don't enjoy people rushing me so a home with older teenage children or adults only would be best for me. I am going to need some help with my toilet training and I am not a fan of being left for too long. I may possibly be suitable to live with cats or dogs, as long as the other dog isn't too over the top, as again I may be small but I can stand up for myself and will give them a good telling off!
