Meet Chance!

Hi I’m Chance. I’m 5 years old, and I found my way into rescue after my time at the pound ran out. It was all a bit scary and confusing, if I’m honest. I’m still figuring things out.

I can be quite an anxious boy in certain situations. But once I know I’m safe, that’s when the real me comes out.

If I bond with you, you’ll know it. I’ve got the wiggliest bum and the happiest tail you’ve ever seen, all ready to greet my favourite people. I absolutely adore fuss and attention. Gentle strokes, kind words, sitting close together... that’s my love language. I’m a soft-hearted, gentle soul who just wants to feel secure and loved.

I’ll need someone patient and understanding who can help me build my confidence at my own pace. I’m just a little unsure about life sometimes. With reassurance and positive experiences, I really will blossom.
I’ll also need some support with my dog socialisation. I’m a bit fearful around other dogs right now, so slow introductions and ongoing positive training will help me learn that I don’t need to worry.

In return, I promise to be the sweetest, most loyal companion you could ask for. I may take a little time to find my brave, but when I do, you’ll have a best friend for life.
