Meet Hugo!

Hi, I’m Hugo, a gorgeous 3-year-old mastiff mix with the body of a gentle giant and the personality of a big, lovable goofball!

I’m at my happiest when I’m bouncing around, playing silly games, or leaning my entire weight into you for a proper mastiff cuddle.
I’m a strong lad, so I’ll need an experienced owner who’s confident with large breeds and able to continue working on my lead walking. I’m making good progress with my training, but I’ll need someone steady and consistent to help me become the very best version of myself.

I can be quite unsure and reserved when meeting new people. I need calm introductions and a patient human who has the time to build up my confidence and help me form positive associations. Once I trust you, though, you’ll see my soft, snuggly, affectionate side shine through.

I absolutely love other dogs and could potentially live with a similar-sized, well-matched playmate who enjoys a bit of fun. Because of my size and strength, I’m looking for an adult-only home. I also can’t live with cats – they’re just a little too fascinating for me!
