Meet Hooch!

Hello there I'm Hooch the Pembroke Cocker Corgi and I am looking for a special new home.

My owner has very sadly passed away - he was my best friend and I miss him terribly, so my friends here at the centre are keen to help me find my a new forever home where I will be loved just as much.

I am looking for a real companion, someone who is around most of the time so we can keep each other company. I am very used to riding shotgun in the car (securely of course) so can't wait to get out and about again with my new favourite person.

I generally walk great on my lead and I'm not worried by traffic or other dogs that I see out on my walks. I am not really interested in playing I would much rather have a fuss and a snooze after my couple of shorter walks that I enjoy.

I really don't enjoy visiting the vet or groomer and will have to wear a muzzle for these times. I also have not been around children and because I am not keen on anyone I don't know rushing forward or overhandling me I do think it would be best to live in an adult only home.

Although I seem unphased by other dogs I have been used to being the only dog in the home for all of my 8 years so this set up may suit me well again. Same for cats really, I haven't taken much notice of my feline friends here at the centre but have no experience of living with them, so we would have to see how that goes.

if you think you have space on your bedroom floor for my bed and me, I would love to meet you, thank you for reading, Hooch xx
