Meet Hettie!
A bright, busy terrier looking for an experienced home.
Hettie is a young, fun loving terrier bursting with personality. She’s clever, enthusiastic and full of that classic terrier spark that makes the breed so entertaining to live with. This little girl approaches life at full speed and is now looking for a committed, experienced terrier owner who can help her channel her energy in the right direction.
Hettie thrives on structure, routine and guidance. She needs someone confident with terriers who understands their quick minds and strong instincts, and who will enjoy continuing her training and helping her learn how to settle. She responds well to calm, verbal correction and does best when boundaries are clear and consistent. Once settled, Hettie is calm and loving and enjoys nothing more than snuggles and cuddles with her people.
Like many terriers, Hettie can become over excited, especially when there’s lots going on around her. She will bark at sounds outside the house and can lunge at traffic or passers by when on walks, so she’ll need an owner who is happy to keep working on her focus and impulse control.
Hettie has a huge love of play and will happily entertain herself with her toys, tossing them about and creating her own games. She needs plenty of daily exercise, along with enrichment activities such as puzzle toys, training sessions and scent work to keep her busy brain satisfied.
