Meet Coco!
Hello there, I'm Coco. Not only am I a beautiful looking Cocker I also have the most wonderful nature to match!
I am looking for a new home as my previous family just didn't have the time for a very busy and energetic dog like me and they did the kindest thing by contacting my friends here at the NAWT. I will need new owners who are prepared to help me with all my basic training as I do pull on the lead, and I haven't got the greatest of recall skills. Although that all sounds a bit negative, I am just the loveliest boy with a heart of gold and I am very willing to learn.
I came into the centre and very quickly the team here noticed something wasn't right. The vets have discovered that I have a bladder stone - ouch! Even though I must have been in a lot of pain I was so good giving the vets lots of kisses and let them do all of their tests on me with no bother at all, just goes to show what a lovely friendly temperament I have. I am now on the mend and receiving lots of care, but owners need to be aware that I may be prone to this again in the future.
I am very much a working type Cocker Spaniel and am raring to go, sniffing everywhere with my spaniel nose to the ground. I will play and chase after a toy but I haven't quite mastered the retrieve just yet. I am very wriggly and don't sit still much, so I will need a home where I can have the opportunity to chill and settle as well as owners who can match my energy level.
I have lived with children previously and loved them very much, they just need to be old enough to not get knocked over by me running here and there. I could also possibly live with cats or another dog depending on how those meets go.
So come on, let me know if you think you have a spaniel shaped hole in your heart and home xx Coco xx
