Meet Bertie!

Hey there, I'm Bertie. I'm a young Shihtzu x French Bulldog and I'm on the look out for my new home.

I have come from a very loving home but I really didn't like to share my owner with the other resident dog so I really now to find a home where I will be the only dog.

I am a sweet natured, gentle boy, who absolutely adores love and fuss, so I will be the most amazing loyal companion and lap dog for someone. I like to stay close by to my owner and sometimes I can be a bit shy and timid initially hiding behind your legs, so will need a patient owner who will help me gain my confidence. I am great to walk on the lead and even though I can't live with another dog, I am very happy to walk past other dogs with no problem when out and about. I know I have said I love all the fuss and cuddles but I do also enjoy my walks very much so will need an active owner who will enjoy a walking buddy.

I have lived with a cat before so could do again possibly. I haven't been around children yet but that may also be an option for me as long as they are kind and gentle. I love my food but I can be a bit prone to itchy skin so a good diet will be important for me.
